Student Support Services
Students
Nebraska Wesleyan students may want to refer a friend about whom they have concerns. Students can also refer themselves, and a member of the CARE Connect Response Team will reach out. These outreach coordinators help problem solve and connect the student to relevant campus resources. Students wanting to make a referral may do so through CARE Connect.
Faculty and Staff
Nebraska Wesleyan faculty and staff are invested in our students’ academic progress and personal growth. A friendly face, a listening ear and a caring approach can often help our students get in touch with the resources they need. CARE Connect, NWU’s student support system, is an early alert and intervention program for students designed to help identify those students who may need extra assistance in achieving academic success. When a report is made, a member of the CARE Connect Response Team will reach out.
If you have any questions about CARE Connect, please contact Candice Howell by email at chowell [at] airllevant.com (chowell[at]nebrwesleyan[dot]edu).
Parents
Parents who are concerned about a student are encouraged to report their concerns here. This referral may be anonymous.
