Graduate Recruitment Specialist
Nebraska Wesleyan University seeks to hire a results-oriented, energetic graduate recruitment specialist to join our dedicated admissions team. The person filling this position will be critical to the success of graduate enrollment goals.
Nebraska Wesleyan University is proud to welcome graduate students to our MBA, MSW, MSN, and Master’s in Athletic Training (MAT) program. Reporting to the Dean of Graduate Programs and Strategic Partnerships, but working closely with admissions and marketing, the vision for this position will be to primarily recruit graduate students to the University, although successful candidates will be asked to assist the graduate team as needed.
This position is a full-time, non-exempt position, which requires some evening work and limited overnight and regional travel. - Collaborate with the dean and graduate program directors to collectively forecast, develop, implement, and evaluate effective outreach and recruitment strategies and enrollment targets
- Use data, market research, and enrollment trends to identify target markets, inform recruitment planning and decision-making as well as to identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, programming, and support services
- Assist with outreach and recruitment programs including virtual and off-campus information sessions in ways that creatively convey the benefits of the Nebraska Wesleyan graduate student experience
- Assist prospective students by assessing their skills and interests and guiding them through the application while providing ongoing support, advocacy, and assistance throughout the admissions and enrollment processes
- Assure academic records and other application data are entered into the institution’s database in furtherance of facilitating timely review, decision notification, and enrollment confirmation for admitted students.
- Use the institution’s CRM system (Slate) to effectively manage inquiries, communicate with prospective students, and prepare application materials for review by program directors
- Use social media platforms, email campaigns, digital marketing strategies, and the institution’s website to promote the university’s graduate programs, admissions requirements, and student support services
- Cultivate relationships with employer partners and other external stakeholders to identify and recruit graduate students
- Provide timely and appropriate responses to inquiries, referrals, and requests for services or resource information
- Provide personalized campus tours and virtual meetings to prospective graduate students
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the institution's graduate programs and student support service offerings to prospective students
- Bachelor’s degree (master's degree preferred) in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Communication, or related field
